In the past few years we have purchased medical equipment that was NEVER used. Or equipment that was out of warranty before it was put into service. Three of the more recent purchases were a Welch Allyn patient monitor – purchased but never used. Defibrillators purchased from a vendor then switched vendors two years later. Change the name of the hospital

e.g.Tennessee Children's Medical Center, Tennessee Valley Children's Medical Center, Children's Hospital of Tennessee etc. Something that rolls off the tongue easier than ETCH.

Patient Concierge Services

It would be nice to have a single point of contact for parents to call when needing to schedule appointments for all of our outside offices, specialists, and on-site clinics. Concierge Scheduling could help make arranging a family's visit easier. Quiet rooms that are dimly lit with lounging future where employees may enjoy a 15-20 minute break to rest and recharge during the afternoon or second half of shift for night shift employees. Studies show a short "power nap" energizes an individual and increases productivity which in turn will lead to better care for patients and a healthier financial bottom line.
